The Raffle Drawing will be on January 11th, at the Hamfest at noon (Ticket sales end 11:30 AM). Prizes will be drawn in reverse order (5th Place first) and will include 5 alternates. Winners have 30 days to claim their prize.

Yaesu FT-DX10 HF/50MHz 100W SDR

We are pleased to introduce the FTDX10, a compact HF/50MHz 100W SDR Transceiver with SDR HF Technical Support option 8.

Hybrid SDR Configuration: Like the FTDX101 series, the FTDX10 uses the Yaesu Hybrid SDR configuration — Narrow Band SDR and Direct Sampling SDR. The Narrow Band SDR receiver emphasizes excellent receiver performance, while the Direct Sampling SDR provides a Digital Processing Real-Time Spectrum Scope.

Narrow Band SDR with 3 types of Roofing Filters: A Down Conversion type receiver with the first IF at 9MHz allows excellent narrow bandwidth crystal roofing filters (500Hz, 3kHz and 12kHz). RMDR reaches 116dB or more, close-in BDR reaches 141dB or more, and 3rd IMDR reaches 109dB or more in the 14MHz band at 2kHz separation.

250MHz HRDDS: The local circuit uses the same 250MHz HRDDS method as the FTDX101 series, achieving a phase noise characteristic of -145dB or less in 14MHz at 2kHz separation.

3DSS on a 5-inch Full-Color TFT Display with Touch-Panel: Direct-input numeric keypad, MAIN dial and scope-touch tuning, and MULTI/RX-status/Center/FIX/Cursor modes.

Front Panel: MPVD (Multi-Purpose VFO Outer Dial) controls Clarifier, C/S custom selection, and memory-channel recall.

Remote Operation: Possible with the optional SCU-LAN10 and Network Remote Control Software.

Yaesu FT-5DR Dual Band VHF/UHF

The FT5DR is a full-featured C4FM handheld transceiver. In a compact body (W2.44″ x D1.34″ x H3.94″) it provides 5W RF power output and 1W audio power tuned for quality audio. Real Dual Band Operations (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V) are available with two independent receivers, with large individual LED indicators for A and B bands, and support for simultaneous C4FM digital.

Rubber corner protection gives rugged, shock-resistant construction with an IPX7 waterproof rating and a comfortable full-flat back body. A high-resolution display highlights the operational band frequency (selectable white, blue or red), with three touch panel keys and seven operation keys for intuitive operability.

TOUCH & GO operation registers the current frequency into the Primary Memory Group via the “PMG” key, then displays receive status as an activity monitor; touch a bar to recall that frequency. Band Scope monitors up to 79 channels in real time around the current VFO frequency. C4FM features include Automatic Mode Select (AMS), Digital Group ID (DG-ID), and Smart Navigation. WiRES-X Portable Digital Node is supported with a laptop and the optional SCU-39 cable kit.

Powerwerx DB-750X Dual Band VHF/UHF

An affordable commercial land-mobile multi-band radio featuring narrow-band transmit (2.5 KHz) except on the Amateur bands (selectable Wide or Narrow RX), true dual-band receive (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V), Wide RX/TX 136-174/400-490 MHz, AM aircraft receive 108-136 MHz, and a user-selectable multi-colored LCD display. Ships keyboard locked; the PRG-750 or RPS-DB750X-USB programming cable is required to initially unlock and program it before use. Part 90 certified (CE & FCC).

Features: 2.5 kHz step for FCC 2013 narrowband compliance; 750 memory channels; 10 memory banks with bank linking; 7-character alpha-numeric display; dual receive with separate volume controls; narrow-band (2.5 kHz) operation for Land Mobile (FCC Part 90) and wide-band (5.0 kHz) for Amateur; optional base-station configuration; 12-month limited warranty. AnyTone AT-D878UVII Plus UHF/VHF/DMR

VHF/UHF dual-band digital/analog Part 90 DMR commercial transceiver with a 1.77-inch color TFT display, Bluetooth and GPS. The AT-D878UVII PLUS model adds a green-colored top button, DMR Roaming, larger memory, and storage of up to 500,000 contacts. Frequency coverage 140-174 / 400-480 MHz. Includes USB programming cable and Bluetooth PTT button.

Main features: built-in DMR repeater roaming; DMR-APRS and analog APRS (GPS); VHF/UHF dual-band monitoring (V+V, U+U, V+U); DMR digital and analog on any channel; selectable 6.0/4.0/2.5/1.0W output; Bluetooth connectivity; USB programming cable with free software; and a user-changeable 1.77-inch color TFT display.

Node Ventures ClearNode

ClearNode is a pre-configured Raspberry Pi based AllStar, EchoLink & Digital Modes simplex node with an integrated low-power UHF (or VHF) FM radio transceiver. Digital modes include DMR, P25, YSF, FCS and NXDN.

It includes a free companion iPhone and Android app to set up and control your node from anywhere with an internet connection. You can also control node connections using DTMF commands from your handheld radio.

The ClearNode Mobile App lets you: configure AllStar, EchoLink & Digital credentials and settings; configure WiFi without SSH/Terminal; connect and disconnect from remote nodes, hubs, reflectors and Talk Groups; automate connects/disconnects with Timed Events; keep, edit and tag a catalog of nodes; control the integrated radio (Tx/Rx frequency, CTCSS/DCS, squelch, volume); power down or reboot; play a delayed (~20 sec) stream of node audio; update software; find the node's LAN/WAN IP address; and control multiple AllStar & EchoLink ClearNodes.
